Jackson L. Rosecrance died Wednesday night at the home of Seymour Millard, 
south of Palo. He was seventy-three years old, was born in Washtenaw Co. and 
had lived in North Shade most of the time for the past twenty years. He had 
been in Oregon considerable of the time for two or three years past. He was an 
old soldier, well known and esteemed by many people here. The funeral services 
were held in the Congregational church here at two o'clock today, Rev. Geo 
Dell officiating.
