Hastings Reminder - Sat. Jan. 23, 2021

Vena Rosenberger, age 83, of Wayland, passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at 
Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. 

Vena was born in Cadillac, on March 16, 1937. 

She spent her early childhood years in the Cadillac area, until family relocated 
to the Wayland area. Vena completed her education, graduating from Wayland High 
School. 

Vena is survived by her beloved husband, Glenn; her daughter, Mary Lou (Gregg) 
Higgins, three sons, Richard Timmons, Jim (Nong),Timmons Carl Timmons; daughter-
in-law, Peggy (Matt) VanBemmelen; stepdaughter, Julie Rosenberger; stepson, 
Brian Rosenberger; one grandson, Joe (Danelle) Timmons; one great grandson, 
Jayden Timmons; one great grandaughter, Elle Timmons; two sisters, Doris Metesh, 
Joanne (Tom) Modreske; three brothers, Jack (Jean)VanVolkinburg, Larry 
(Von)VanVolkinburg, Duane VanVolkinburg. 

She was preceded in death by her son, John Timmons; three brothers, Don 
VanVolkinburg, Keith VanVolkinburg, Ron VanVolkinburg; two sisters, Donnabelle 
Gunneman, Freda Owen. 

Funeral services were held at the Whitneyville Bible Church on Saturday, Jan. 
16, 2021, with Pastor Nathan Grey officiating with interment taking place at 
Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Daniels Funeral Home, Nashville.
