Glenn was born in Clarksville, MI, October 31, 1933, a son of th late Leona and Dwight Rosenberger. He was raised in Clarksville area and attended Lowell schools.After completing his education, Glenn was drafted into the United state Army where he completed four years of service, before being honorably discharged and returning to West Michigan. He was married to Faith (Roberts) Rosenberger and the couple had two children, Julie and Brian. Glenn was a lifelong salesman who worked in several different industries, including radio and entertainment, mobile homes, and real estate.After retiring, Glenn joined Verhage Motor Coach in Grand Rapids where he provided hearse and livery service for several funeral homes in West Michigan. During his 15 years tenure Glenn's professionalism and attention to detail was a characteristic that made him one of the most sought after and requested drivers in the company. After retiring, Glenna and his wife Vena enjoyed traveling in the motorhome with their boat in tow. They especially enjoyed heading to Northern Michigan to camp and fish and have ventured to Alaska twice! Glenn was an avid deer hunter, who still maintained a deer stand on the original family homestead. Glenn is survived by his daughter, Julie Rosenberger; his son, Brian Rosenberger; stepchildren,Mary (Gregg) Higgins, Richard Timmons, Jim (Nong)Timmons, Carl Timmons; his brother, Lloyd Rosenberger, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years,Vena; his sisters,Lynn Lawrence and Althea Porritt, and brothers, Alwyn, Gordon, and Lyle Rosenberger. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024 at Noon at the Whitneyville Bible Church, located at 8655 Whitneyville Ave SE, Alto,MI 49302. The family will receive visitors, Tuesday, Jan 9, 2024, one hour prior to the funeral service from 11 a.m.-noon at the Whitneyville Bible Church. Guests are invited to remain at the church and continue celebrating the life of Glenn Rosenberger for a time of fellowship and luncheon. Interment will take place following the funeral luncheon at the Clarksville Cemetery, in Clarksville,MI. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Daniels Funeral Home in Hasting's, MI conveniently located at 1401 North Broadway, Hastings, MI.
