Mrs. Frank D. Ross, for many years a resident of this village and vicinity, 
died very suddenly of heart trouble at her home in Lansing Monday morning at 6 
o’clock.  She had been having frequent attacks of heart trouble and her sudden 
demise was not altogether unexpected by her friends.  Mrs. Ross was born on 
North Plains and was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Dixon.  She moved 
to Lansing with her husband a year ago.  Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband, 
Frank Ross, two daughters, Doris and Myrtie, two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Merrithew, 
and Mrs. Rollin Branyan, and one brother, Bernie Dixon.  The remains were 
brought to Muir Wednesday morning and funeral services were held from the home 
of Rollin Branyan at 2:00 in the afternoon.  Burial was in the North Plains 
cemetery.  The bereaved family have the sympathy of a host of friends in this 
vicinity.
