Nathan Ross, a former resident of this city, died at the home of a friend near
Ionia Saturday, aged 62 years.  While on a visit to a sister in California about
a year or more ago, he was injured in a railroad car accident and one of his
limbs had to be amputated.  A second operation also had to be performed.  Since
this his health has been failing.  He was the father of Herbert Ross of Otisco,
A.J. Ross of Barryton and Mrs. Birdella Wilson of this city.  The funeral
service was held Tuesday and his remains were taken to Muir for interment.
