Margaret E. Ross, 80, of Sheridan, died Thursday at her residence.  She was 
born February 4, 1913, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth 
Miller Lemke.  She was graduated from Ionia County Normal and attended Western 
Michigan University.  She was a school teacher at Saranac, Ionia, and Haslett, 
until retiring in 1974.

She married Clyde Ross in June of 1934.  He preceded her in death in 1986.  
She was a member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church of Stanton and the Ionia Retired 
Teachers Association.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, with 
the Rev. Robert Zagore officiating.  The family will be at the funeral home 
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.  Burial will be in Highland 
Park Cemetery, Ionia.  A memorial has been established for Mt. Hope Lutheran 
Church, in care of the funeral home.
