Ionia County News - Thurs. Oct. 17, 1946

Fred J. Ross, 59, died very suddenly Friday, October 11 at his home in Muir. He 
is survived by his widow, Jennie; one son, Clifford J. Ross, Lansing, a 
daughter, Mrs. Thane Dennis, Muir, and three brothers, Lester, Ionia; George of 
Muir and Alvin of California.

Rev. Faulkner Mercer of the Lyons Baptist church officiated at the funeral 
service held Saturday afternoon, October 13. Burial was in North Plains 
Cemetery.
