Ross, 75, of 316 East Lincoln Ave., died Tuesday morning at the Ionia County Memorial hospital. She was born in Gowen on May 6, 1903 to Peter and Millie Jensen and had been employed at Ranney’s in Greenville. She married Thomas Ross in Ionia on January 24, 1924 in Ionia and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1974. They made their home in Easton Township until moving to Ionia in 1938. After moving to Ionia she worked at the Ypsilanti Reed plant, AC plant during WW II and was employed by several convalescent homes in Ionia since then. Survivors include her husband, Thomas; two sons, Robert and Howard of Ionia; two daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) Hague, Ionia; Mrs. Robert (Pearl) McLeod, Ionia; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two daughters and one son preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church with Rev. Leo Kostizen officiating. Burial will be in Easton cemetery.
