The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 15, 1939


Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Ross, 62, who died Saturday were held at 
Boynton’s funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, with Rev. F. G. Dunbar, 
pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.  Interment was in the Carson City 
cemetery.  Bearers were Frank Dalton, Cecil Rider, U. S. Acker, Andrew Bendis, 
John Elliott and Glenn Hatadis.  

Relatives and friends attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Frank 
Dalton, Carl Dalton, Glenn Dalton, Miss Margaret Dalton, Miss Dorothy Dalton, 
Lee Dow of Carson City, Cecil Rider and daughter Gertrude of Fenwick, Mr. and 
Mrs. John Elliott, Wayne Hatadis, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Barnhart and daughter of 
Mt. Pleasant, Mr. and Mrs. U. S Acker of Lansing, Al Baker and Ralph Baker of 
Ovid, A. W. Munger and Miss Munger of Plainwell, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Shepard, 
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bendis of Henderson, Newell Finch and Mrs. Alto Wood of 
Shepardsville.
