Palo Post – Friday, 10 June 1898
Jay Ross died very suddenly at Muir last Wednesday.  He was about to go home 
to his dinner and had got into his buggy, when he was seen to throw up his 
left hand and fell out of the buggy, dead.  Funeral today.
