ROSS, EVA MAY (FACE)(MRS. GORDON C.) 
  SENTINEL-STANDARD, IONIA, MI, 5-6-1997:  "Obituaries - SHERIDAN - Eva Mae
(Face) Ross, 75, of Greenville died Monday, May 5, 1997 at her residence.
   She was born April 28, 1922 in Detroit, the daughter of Albert and Elsie
(Sweers) Haynor.  She was a member of Shiloh Community Church.
   She married Gordon C. Ross June 9, 1972 in Clarkston, WA. 
   She is survived by her husband, Gordon; two daughters, Carolyn Rogers of
Greenville and Elsie (Lynn) Raymond of Greenville; three sons, Gene (Charlene)
Face of Orleans, Douglas (Dianne) Ross of Portland, Ore. and Bruce (Claudia)
Ross of Herrodsberg, Ky.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one
sister, Marian (Wayne) Morris of Orleans.
   She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Earl Face, in
1967.
   Funeral services will be Thursday, May 8, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Stebbins and
Simpson Funeral Home in Sheridan with Rev. Kendall Harger officiating. 
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday,
May 7, 1997 at the Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home in Sheridan.  Interment
will be at Orleans Cemetery.
   Memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice of choice."
