MRS. LOTTIE ROSS
LYONS-Mrs.Lottie Ross, 79, of Ionia, and formerly of Muir, died at 8:05 p.m. 
Tuesday at her home, 627 Morse street. She had been ill for some time.

She was born August 3, 1878 in North Plains township.

A daughter of Simon P. and Frances Dick, early Muir pioneers, Mrs Ross lived 
on a farm outside of Muir and later in Muir and for the past two years made 
her home in Ionia.

She and her husband, George Ross celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary 
this year. They were married May 23, 1899.

Surviving are her husband George of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs Beatrice Estep, 
Mrs Mable Fletcher, Mrs Lizzie Eldridge, Muir; a brother Howard of Muir.

The body is at the Estep funeral home, route one, Muir. Funeral services will 
be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at First Christian church in Muir. The Rev. 
Roger Wright will officiate. Burial will be in North Plains cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie M. Ross, 79, of Morse street, Ionia, who 
died Tuesday at 8 p.m., were conducted at First Christian church in Muir 
Friday at 2 p.m. Burial was in North Plains cemetery.

Bearers were all nephew, Kenneth Eldridge, Arthur Eldridge, LaWayne Maynard, 
Robert Howe, Howard Fletcher and Joseph Fletcher.

Attending from out of town were; Florence Caldwell of Detroit, Mr and Mrs 
Herbert Ross and Mr and Mrs Earl Van Ockes of Smyrna, Mr and Mrs Roy Peterman 
of Crystal, Mr and Mrs Robert Ross and Mr and Mrs Edward Dick of Lansing, Mr 
and Mrs Allen Dick and Mr and Mrs Vern Dick of Grand Ledge.
