           ROSS

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Ann (Jesko) 
Ross, 83, of Ionia,Michigan, who passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025. She 
was born on March 12, 1942, in Ionia to Joseph and Theresa (Benedict) Jesko.

On March 5, 1960, Ruth married the love of her life, Howard Ross Sr., and 
together they built a home filled with love, warmth, and family She was a 
devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who found her 
greatest joy in being surrounded by those she held most dear.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband,Howard Sr.,; her granddaughter,Gentry 
Peterson Nnadi; her parents, Joseph and Theresa Jesko; and her sister, Doris 
(Jesko) Wright.

She is survived by her brother, Joe (Sandy) Jesko; her children Roxann (Walter) 
Wiles and Howard (Mary) Ross Jr.; her grandchildren, Corey (Paige) Peterson, 
Rachel (Don) Leslie, and Matthew Lewis; and her great-grandchildren, Adanna 
Nnadi, Everett and Clara Peterson, and Levi and Oliver Leslie. She also leaves 
behind many beloved nieces and nephews.   

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia,MI, on Wednesday, March 26, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by a 
Celebration of Life Luncheon at St.John's Lutheran School.

Ruth's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew 
her.
