Vera Lucielle Ross, 85, of Lansing passed away Aug. 12, 2003.

She was born in Sebewa March 5, 1918 the daughter of Floyd Arthur and Allena May 
(Kenyon) Bishop. Mrs. Ross grew up in the Portland area, attended Lansing Eastern 
High School, and graduated from Portland high School Vera attended the St. Lawrence

Nursing School and worked in the medical profession her entire life.

She enjoyed traveling and talking about the history of her ancestry. Gathering with

friends and family were always special times and the highlight of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1983; sister, Virginia Terrill;

brother, Paul Bishop.

Graveside services were conducted by Pastor Gregory Wolfe, Portland United Methodist

Church. Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.

Rehabilitation Unit at Sparrow Hospital.
