The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, February 22, 1926
George Ross, who had lived near the home of Alanson Stowell in Easton township 
for about a year and who lived for a number of years near Haynor was found 
dead in his chair Saturday afternoon by Mr. Stowell.  Mr. Ross had been ill 
about a year.  Last fall he spent some time in a hospital but had been at home 
for some time.  As Mr. Ross lived alone Mr. Stowell had gone in to take care 
of him.

Joseph Monks , who lives on North Dexter street, is a half brother.  The 
funeral will be held from the Bradley chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  
Burial will take place at Oak Hill cemetery.
