Anna Louise Ross, 89, of Belding passed away Wednesday October 18, 2006 in 
Orleans Township.  Louise was born on August 11, 1917 in Muskingum County, 
Ohio, the daughter of Vernon and Hazel Davis Crawford.  Louise attended First 
Congregational Church of Belding  and retired from Gibson’s.  She enjoyed 
gardening, flowers, embroidery and fishing.  Louise also enjoyed riding with 
her son David in making deliveries.

She was married on October 10, 1936 in McConnelsville, Ohio to David C. Ross 
Sr. and he preceded her on December 20, 1998.  Louise was also preceded by her 
parents, her brother Verlonis Crawford and a sister Margaret Swisher.  She is 
survived by her children and their spouses; Helen and Richard Mahynski of 
Saranac, Russell “Bud” and Betty Ross of Belding, Joyce and Dr. G. Jay Rottman 
of Ada, and David and Gwen Ross Jr. of Belding.  Louise is also survived by 
many wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren and twelve great great 
grandchildren, and two sisters; Florence Blackburn and Vera Kish.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, 
Belding with Pastor Ken Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.  
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.  Visitation will 
be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the service at the funeral 
home.  Memorials may be given to the Belding Library or a charity of one’s 
choice.
