Elma Nita Ross, 82, of Lyons, passed away Nov. 27, 2000 in Plainwell.  She was 
born July 8, 1918, in Morley, the daughter of Charles and Grace (Joomette) 
Willmer.  She retired from Chrysler and worked part time several years for 
Wash King.

She is survived by sons, David (Pat) Ross of Gobels, Jerry Ross, of Sydney, 
and Bill (Helen) Ross of Georgia; daughters, Bonnie (Jim) Bennett, of Lyons, 
and Joyce (Ed) Fejedelem, of South Carolina; sisters, Hazel Rice, of 
Coldwater, and Thelma Starko, of Ionia; 17 grandchildren and 30+ great-
grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one 
sister and one grandson.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. 
Wednesday at Lyons Cemetery.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions 
to the Lyons-Muir Church or Alzheimer’s Association.  Arrangements by Lake 
Funeral Home-Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir.
