The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, February 9, 1980

Floyd N. Rossell, 63, of Bradford Court, Ionia, died Friday afternoon at the 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Rossell was born in Hoxeyville Sept. 13, 
1916, the son of Wilmarth and Elizabeth Olsen Rossell.  

He attended the Hoxeyville Schools and farmed for several years in that area 
before moving to Ionia in 1954.  He worked for Ionia Manufacturing and the 
A.O. Smith Co. before retiring in 1969 due to failing health.

Survivors include two sons, Jack and John, both of Ionia; three brothers, 
Raymond of Cadillac, Howard of Florida and Orie of Hoxeyville; one sister, 
Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Sperling of Hoxeyville; four grandchildren; and one great-
granddaughter.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Clay Hill Christian Church in 
Hoxeyville with the Rev. Robert Mattern officiating.  Burial will be in the 
Clay Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives at the 
Leddick Funeral Home Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
