Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed. April 16, 1975


LOWELL- Ernest Roth, 86, of 124 South Grove, died Tuesday evening at the 
Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was the father of Maynard Roth of Clarksville and Mrs. Ernestine Wigfield of 
Saranac. Other survivors are another daughter, Mrs. Betty Yeiter of Lowell; 
nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Born in Switzerland July 26, 1888, he came to Lowell when a young man and was a 
retired farmer of the area. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian church 
of Lowell.

The body will be at the Roth-Gerst funeral home in Lowell until 9 pm Thursday 
when it will be taken to the Apostolic Christian church near Lowell for funeral 
services Friday at 11 am. Interment will be at Oakwood cemetery, Lowell.
