Lakewood News
Freida L. Roth, 99, of West Virginia, went to be with her Lord and Savior, 
Saturday, February 14, 1998 at Mt. Storm, West Virginia, where she was staying 
with her daughter, Marie Link.  She was born August 21, 1898 in Kent County, the 
daughter of Noah and Mary Shaffer.  She was married to Roy Seese who preceded 
her in death in 1966.  She was a member of the Elmdate Church of the Nazarene.  
She was also preceded in death by her children, Katherine Dumas, Ethelyn 
Barretta, Lyle Seese, and one great grandchild, Chad Ferrill.

She is survived by seven children, Irene White of Apalachicola, Florida, Marie 
(Lloyd) Link of Mt. Storm, West Virginia, Mary Roush, Nancy Sauers, Bernard and 
Robert Seese of Lake Odessa, and Gerald (Shirley) Seese of Clarksville; 27 
grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren;  and one 
brother, James Shaffer of Davidson.  Visitation will be Friday, February 20, 
1998 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Koops Funeral Home in Lake Odessa.
