It was there she met her husband-to-be, Maynard, a frequent patron of the store. The couple married, and lived and worked on a dairy farm near Clarksville, where they raise their three children. Life on the farm made for long hours and plenty of hard work, leaving little time for personal hobbies. But somehow Marcia found time to participate in bowling team and farm extension groups. The couple also traveled to visit other dairy farms with Harvester Silo groups, piling on tour buses and making life- long friends along the way.Marcia was also a founding member of a group of farm wives called the Happy Hens, who were known to greet each other with a cheery "Cluck! Cluck!" The past ten years, Marcia's home has been Fountainview of Lowell. Her family wishes to express deep gratitude an appreciation for her care during her time there, and for the gratitude and appreciation for her care there, and for the deep friendships of both staff and residents. Marcia had many big laughs (and quiet little chuckles)during her time there. Most of all, Marcia was a woman of deep faith, which never wavered no matter the circumstances. Her kindness and thoughtfulness will be missed by family and friends alike. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made to Elmdale Nazarene Church and Clarksville Volunteer Fire Department.
