The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, May 9, 1959

Loyal Rounds, 61, died at his home in Muir Friday about 4 a.m.  

Mr. Rounds was employed at Ionia Manufacturing company.  He was married August 
5, 1916 to Vera Little.  He lived in Lyons for a time and had lived the past 
18 years at his present residence.

Surviving are his wife, Vera; a son Loyal, Jr. of Lyons; two daughters, Mrs. 
Clifford Halsted of Muir and Mrs. Floyd Randall of Eagle; 13 grandchildren; 
three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Howard Rounds of Winona, Minn.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lyons Methodist 
church by the Rev. Richard Kidder.  Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery at Muir.
