Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, April 23, 1963

Funeral service for Mrs. Rose Rountree, 87, who died Friday afternoon was held 
at 2 o'clock Monday. The Rev. Ray R. (indecipherable) pastor of Zion 
Evangelical United Brethren church, officiated and interment was at Balcom 
cemetery.

Mrs. Orin Schmidt was organist and Mrs. Donald Bates soloist.

Bearers were Clifford Adams, Clarence Adams, Bryant Adams, Virgil Rountree, 
Gene Rountree and Harry Rountree.

Out of town relatives attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rountree, Kenneth, 
Robert and Randy, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Rigdon, and Patsy and Mr. and Mrs. Fred 
Higley of Lyons; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Tucker of Portland, Mr. and Mrs. Mike 
McKelvy and Mrs. and Mrs. William Rountree of Hastings; Mrs. Audrey Barnum, Mr. 
and Mrs. Phillip Dabbs, Mr. and Ms. Ray Barnum and Mrs. John Alvarado of Flint; 
Mr. and Mrs. James C. Rountree, Jerry, Terry and Carol and Mrs. Ciara Wirts of 
Lansing.

Mr. and Ms. Martin Giaimo and Mrs. Ethel Goyle of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. 
Bryant Adams and Mr. and Mrs. William Emmons of Naylor, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. 
Luther Rountree, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Rountree, Mrs. Arthur Winright, Mr. and 
Mrs. Harry Rountree, Dan and Susie, Roger Seabrook, Gene Rountree, Mr. and Mrs. 
(unreadable) Adams, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Adams of Muir.
