MRS. MARVEL ROUNDTREE
LYONS - Mrs. Marvel Roundtree, 34, of Garden street, Muir died Friday 
afternoon at Belding hospital after a long illness.

She was born March 8, 1932 to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moore of Ionia. She married 
Harry Roundtree of Muir, September 4, 1948. They lived in Muir 18 years. Mrs. 
Roundtree was a member of the First Christian church of Ionia.

Surviving are her husband, Harry, one son, Harry Daniel, one daughter, 
Carolyn Sue; two brothers, Walter Moore Jr. of Colorado and Maynard Harris 
Moore of South Ionia; five sisters, Mrs. Delores Heaven of Wyoming, Mrs. 
Paula Havens of Muir, Mrs. Gaylene Furman, Mrs. Colleen Almy, and Mrs. Thelma 
Heintzelman of South Ionia.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church in Ionia with 
burial at Green Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Robert McComb will officiate.

The family will be at Estep funeral home in Muir Saturday and Sunday 
afternoon and evening.
