Sentinel-Standard - Saturday - July 11, 1970

Juaneta S. Rountree, 57, died in Battle Creek Community hospital Saturday 
morning after an illness of a week.

She was born April 4, 1913 in Pewamo the daughter of Joseph and Dora Curtis Gee. 
She had been employed at Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company and for 15 years had 
worked for Ivan Clark Manufacturing company of Lyons. She had been a resident of 
Battle Creek the past four years having previously lived in Lyons 25 years.

She had been married to Henry Rountree 40 years and he survives as do six sons, 
Allen, William and James of Hastings. Kenneth of Middleville,  Robert and Randy 
of Battle Creek: two daughters, Mrs. Connie Tucker of Battle Creek and Mrs. 
Lorraine McKelvey of Hastings; 22 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 pm at Myers-Roetman funeral home in Ionia 
with interment at Muir cemetery.

Family will be at the funeral home Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
