Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Aug. 1994


IONIA – Lulu M. Roush, 90, of East Lansing, formerly of Ionia, died Sunday, 
Aug. 14, 1994, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

She was born Nov. 9, 1903, the daughter of Byron L. and Myrtle (Burris) Smith 
in Ionia.

She was a member of the LeValley United Methodist Church, Ionia. She worked as 
a volunteer at the Ionia Manor.

She is survived by one son, Wayne J. Roush of East Lansing; three 
grandchildren; Linda (Jim) Nuttall of East Lansing; Diane (Gary) Beem of Grand 
Ledge, and Eric Roush of East Lansing; two great grandchildren, Daniel Beem of 
Grand Ledge and Stephanie Goodwin of East Lansing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard and one daughter, Ellen May 
Roush.

Graveside services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Balcom Cemetery in Ionia. 
Arrangements were made by Myers memorial Chapel, Ionia.
