Ionia Sentinel Standard, 19 Oct 1925

Ellen Mae, three-months-old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Roush, died in her
mother’s arms while on the way to Collins Sunday afternoon.  Mr. and Mrs. Roush
were on their way to visit his father.  The little miss was born July 23.  At
first she did not gain, but had begun to pick up and the past few days seemed to
be exceptionally well.  The cause of death was given as indigestion.

Mr. and Mrs. Roush live with her grandfather, C.M. Burris, on the Lyons road. 
She is also survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Smith.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the home of Mr. Burris.
