Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday July 4, 1968

Services Held for Leon J. Roush
Leon J. Roush, 80, retired farmer of Route 1, Lake Odessa, died early Saturday 
at Pennock Hospital, several hours after admittance.

He was born near Freeport and spent his entire life in the local area. He 
married Sadie Jackson February 25, 1913, and she passed away in March 1913, and 
she passed away in March, 1965. Mrs. Roush retired from farming in 196o.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.Lionel (Lucille) Normington of rural Portland; a  
son, Walter, Route 1, Lake Odessa; 13 grandchildren, and a brother, Jolly Roush 
of rural Hasting's.

Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel. Rev. 
Donald Mathis officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
