Lake Odessa Wave - July 19, 1979
          FLOYD A ROUSH
   LAKE ODESSA - Floyd A. Roush, 89 of 770 3rd Ave., Lake Odessa, died July 15 at
the Provincial House in 
Hastings where he had been a patient since February.
   Born April 2, 1890, in Freeport, he was the son of Samuel and Mary Gaskeler
Roush.
   He attended school in Freeport and married Nellie Reed July 28, 1915.
   She preceded him in death October 16, 1977.
   They lived and farmed most of their lives West of Lake Odessa until 1964, when
they moved into the village.  
He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church.
   Surviving are one son, Reed Roush of the Provincial House in Hastings, one
sister, Mrs. Pearl Lindsey of 
Hollywood, Fla., several nieces and nephews.
   Services were held July 17 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
   Interment was in Lakeside Cemetery.
