Lyons Herald, 21 Nov 1901

Mrs. Cora Rowe, mention of whose death appeared in our last issue, was the only 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hopkins.  She was born in Seneca Co., N. Y., 
December 12, 1869, coming to Michigan in 1879.  She was united in marriage to 
Edwin Rowe December 19, 1888, to which union one son was born who died in 
infancy.  Mrs. Rowe was a kind, loving wife and neighbor, ever ready and 
willing to be of help to all who needed her assistance, was a member of the 
Orange missionary society and was always ready to do her part in this good 
cause, a member of the L.O.T.M. of Portland and the Royal Circle of Lyons.  
Deceased leaves a husband and an adopted son to mourn her loss.
