Milan G. Rowe, 78, of 806 James, Belding, died Sunday morning at Belding 
Christian Nursing home.  He was born in Breckenridge, July 8, 1893 and was a 
retired employee of Extruded Metal company in Belding and member of Belding 
Free Methodist church.  He was married August 4, 1915, to Viola Wolten and they 
lived in the Belding area 56 years.

Surviving besides the wife are three daughters, Mrs. Everett Kimball of 
Millbrook, Mrs. Starry Packard of Boyne City and Mrs. DeVillo Ward of Rockford; 
two sons, James of Belding and Lawrence of Rockford; eight grandchildren and 
eight great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bernice Anthony of Mt. Pleasant.

Mr. Rowe will be at the Charles M. Courser funeral home in Belding until noon 
Wednesday when he will be taken to Belding Free Methodist church for services 
at 2 p.m.  Rev. Harold Yochim will officiate and interment will be at River 
Ridge cemetery.  Bearers will be Melvin Ludlow, Glenn VanWagoner, Ivan 
Davenport, Robert Hubbard, Max Clark and Jeff MacLaren.
