Lewis E. Rowe, 67, of 4875 West Grand River, died Saturday at Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.  He was born July 7, 1911 in Grange township, the son of 
Lewis A. Rowe and Olive Wilson.

Mr. Rowe was a retired real estate and insurance agent and was a member of 
Portland Congregational church, Kiwanis and Chamber of Commerce.  

He was preceded in death by one son, Terrence in 1965.  Survivors include his 
wife, Dorothy; three sons, William of Lyons; Jack of Denver, Colorado and Bruce 
of Portland; one daughters, Mrs. Patricia Morgridge of Portland; one sister, 
Mrs. Reva Galloway of Ionia; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday afternoon from the Neller funeral home with Rev. Ronald 
Lahr officiating.  Burial was in Portland cemetery.  Bearers were George and 
Nicholas Rowe, Royal Green, Charles Wilson, Guy Bigford and Jean Vigneau.
