Final Rites for Ethyle Rowlader

Mrs. Ethyle C. Rowlader, 88 of Woodland passed away Tuesday morning in Kent 
Community Hospital, Grand Rapids, after being a patient for several weeks.

Born in Nashville, December 22, 1884, she was the daughter of Chas. and Jesse 
(Carey) Hatton. She was a graduate of Lake Odessa High School and was a member 
of Woodland United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women (Esther Circle).

Mrs. Rowlader was married to Roy Rowlader of Woodland on December 19, 1907. He 
passed away June 26, 1948.

She is survived by one nephew Hillis Tischer of Saranac and several cousins in 
Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 3:00 PM at Pickens Funeral 
Chapel, Lake Odessa, the Rev. Richard Erickson officiating. Burial will be in 
Lakeside cemetery.
