Ionia County News - Thursday, Nov. 25, 1965

Funeral service for Arthur Rowland, 63, of route five, St. Johns, who died 
Monday morning at his home following a long illness, was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 
in Ionia. The rev. Dwight Kelley of Durand, former pastor of Church of he 
Nazarene, officiated and interment was at Balcom cemetery.

Bearers were, Leonard Schwab, Jerry Hopkins, Frank Bailey, John Hopkins, 
Stanley Booth and Russell Hull. 

Among those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Gott, and 
Raymond of Greenville, the Rev. and Mrs. Dwight Kelier and Cynthia of Durand, 
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rowland of Cedar Springs, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Sherman, Mrs. 
Nina Huckleberry and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hoover of Lowell, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar 
Otzman, Mrs. Mary Robinson and William Tagel of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. 
Carlyle Barnes, Buddy and Brenda, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Barnes and Mr. and Mrs. 
Frank Bailey of St. Johns; Mary Barnes of Flint and Richard Hopkins of Lake 
Odessa.
