The remains are expected here Thursday for burial from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Rowley, Morse street. Ed Rowley was born in Ionia and was 43 years of age at the time of his death. He attended the Ionia public schools and went to work as a boilermaker and machinist in the Pere Marquette shops here. He left Ionia about 25 years ago and had been employed by railroads in the west, becoming foreman. For a number of years his home had been in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he is survived by a widow and three daughters. He was in Ionia this summer and fall in an effort to recuperate from his illness. He left about a month ago accompanied by his father, Horace Rowley, who took his son to Independence, where he was placed in a hospital where his death occurred. Besides his family and parents he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Alvin Buche. The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon.
