Kathleen M. Rowley, 70, Orleans, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997 at her 
residence.  She was born April 20, 1926, in Ionia, to Fred and Grace Sprague 
Lehman.  She was married May 30, 1942, in Ionia, to Gilbert Rowley.  He 
preceded her in death in 1973.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn and Robert Darnell, Kathy and Gene 
Parks, Lorraine and Ralph Montgomery, Vern and Diane Rowley, Clifford and 
Brenda Rowley, all of Ionia, Grace and Albert Hopkins of Orleans; 18 
grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Caroline 
Smith of Orleans, Russell and Audrey Lehman of Longview, Texas, George Lehman, 
Leo and Marilyn Lehman, all of Belding, and Eldon and Jane Lehman of Stanton.  
She also was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Gilbert.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Shiloh Community Church, 
with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be in Easton 
Cemetery.  Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral 
Home, Belding.  Memorials may be made to Ionia County Memorial Hospital Home 
Care.
