Mary was born Aug. 5, 1929, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Lawrence and Louise Kennard. She worked for a number of years as a school bus driver for Battle Creek Public Schools. Mary was a member of Shiloh Community Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents. She was married on Aug. 18, 2004, to Fred Rowley and he survives along with her brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Alberta Kennard of Sarasota, Fla.; her mother-in-law, Caroline Smith of Belding; two sisters-in-law, Pam and Cam Vermilya of Flint, Sherry Decker and Ace Fairchild of Belding; and her nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken harger officiating. Following the service cremation will take place. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, and one hour before the service Tuesday at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to hospice of Michigan or Shiloh Community church. Condolences may also be given to the Rowley family at www.jfhh.com.
