Dec. 14, 1990 VIENNA, VIRGINIA- Kathron Ann Rowley, 58, of Vienna, Virginia, died Dec. 11 in Arlington Hospital. She was born in Lenowee County on September 20, 1932, the daughter of Floyd and Dorothy Baker Hicks. She was a librarian to the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1990, when she retired. She was a legal reference librarian for the Pentagon and was affiliated with the American Association of Law Librarians. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile. She received her bachelor's degree from M.S.U. and her master's degree in Library Science at the University of Michigan. She married Richard W. Rowley on November 26, 1954, in Hudson, Michigan. She is survived by her husband, Richard Rowley of Virginia; her parents, Floyd and Dorothy Hicks of Tecumseh; two sons, Douglas of Virginia and Phillip of Lansing; one daughter, Linda of Virginia; two brothers, Gary Hicks of Tecumseh and Terry Hicks of Adrian; and one grandson. funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Easton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Scott Otis officiating. Burial will be at Easton Cemetery. The family will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday. Memorials have been established for the Easton United Methodist Church and the American Cancer Society.
