He was born July 1, 1908, in Ionia County, the son of Eugene and Addie Belle Bradford Rowley. George was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, five sisters and two grandsons. He is survived by two sons, Eugene Rowley of Ionia, Bernard Rowley of Edmond, Okla.; a daughter, Kathryn “Louise” Black of Greenville; 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service is 3 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Kendall Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.
