Thelma Louise Rowley, 87, of Ionia passed away March 27, 2012 in Ionia. She was 
born May 14, 1924 in Ionia the daughter of James and Marion (Kingsmith) 
Grummett.

Thelma married Harry Rowley Sept. 19, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1996. 
She was a life member of Easton United Methodist Church and a life member of 
Women of The Moose. She loved music, reading, traveling and socializing.

Thelma is survived by her children, Doris (Francis) Stahl of Florida, Helen 
(Tom) Goss of Saranac, Phyllis (Bill) Daly of Fenwick, James (Judy) Rowley of 
Ionia, Roger (Ruth) Rowley of Ionia, Glen (Pat) Rowley of Georgia and Teresa 
(Duane) Stalker of Ionia; brother, Donald (Shirley) Grummett of Saranac; 
sisters, Donna Battle of Saranac and Alice Courter of Saranac; 20 grandchildren 
and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Harry Jr.; daughter, 
Martha; sisters, Leora Erb and Lois Solomon; and grandson Jimmy Rowley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Easton United Methodist 
Church with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating. Interment Easton Cemetery. 
Visitation will be Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia.

Memorial contributions may be made in Thelma's name to Easton Church or
