Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Jan 1982

Gilbert A. Rowley, 19, of 1255 Belding Road, Orleans, passed away in Willington,
Delaware.  He was born April 18, 1962, in Ionia, the son of Gilbert R. and
Kathleen Lehman Rowley.  He attended Ionia High School.  He was serving in the
Navy at the time of his death.  He enlisted in May 1980.  He attended the Easton
United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen; his grandmother, Mrs. Martha Rowley of
Ionia; two brothers, Vern and Clifford of Ionia; four sisters, Mrs. Grace
Hopkins of Orleans, Mrs. Carolyn Darnell, Mrs. Kathy Parks and Mrs. Lorraine
Montgomery, all of Ionia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at the Myers-Roetman
Funeral Home, with Rev. Eldon Schram officiating.  Burial will be in Easton
Cemetery.  A memorial has been established for Easton Church and may be left at
funeral home.
