Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Mar 1982

Martha E. Rowley, 84, of 844 Bellamy Road, Ionia, died Sunday in Ionia County
Memorial Hospital.  She was born Oct. 18, 1897, in Ionia, the daughter of
Merritt and Florence Smith Munger.  A lifelong Ionia resident, she married Vern
Rowley July 19, 1918 in Ionia. 

She was a member of the Easton United Methodist Church and was employed by Ionia
Manufacturing and Mitchell Bentley.

Survivors include one son, Harry of Ionia; one daughter, Louise Wilson of Ionia;
24 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Myers-Roetman Funeral
Home, with The Rev. Eldon Schramm officiating.
