FREDRICK ROWLEY 1946-2017
Fredrick "Fred" W. Rowley, 70 of Fenwick, passed away unexpectedly Thursday 
July 6, 2017. Fred was born on Aug. 20, 1946 in Ionia, the son of Woodrow 
"Bill" and Caroline (Lehman) Rowley.

Fred graduated from Ionia High School with the class of 1965. He was a 
talented man that could fix anything. He enjoyed woodworking, trips to the UP 
and he built his own A-frame in the Upper Peninsula as well as the home he 
built on his 10 acres that he homesteaded near Palo.

In earlier years he worked at Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons and more recently 
as a clock repairman for a local jeweler a trait that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Fred was preceded by his wife Mary in 2007. He also was preceded by his 
father in 1965, mother in 2012 and many aunts and uncles.

He is loved and survived by his sisters; Pam (Cam) Vermilya of Flint, MI and 
Sherry Decker (Ace Fairchild) of Belding, nieces and nephews; Cam (Cathy) 
Vermilya, Steven (Tammy) Vermilya all of Flint, Ron (Cassie) Schnicke and 
Kristina (Josh) King all of Belding, five great nieces and nephews; Kevin 
Vermilya, Conner Vermilya, Anna Schnicke, Keegan Schnicke and Grady Schnicke, 
special friend; Thelma Auer of St. Johns and many other friends and 
neighbors.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Shiloh Community 
Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 p.m 
and 6-8 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home Belding. Private committal 
prayers will be in Palo Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to 
Shiloh Community Church.
