The Ionia Daily Sentinel, February 1, 1917
The remains of C. A. Rowley, a former resident of Belding, were brought here 
Saturday from McCords.  He would have been 89 had he lived until March.  He 
leaves three sons, C. A. Rowley, city treasurer, Bert A. Rowley, R.F.D. 
carrier at whose home the funeral services were held, and James, of McCords, 
with whom he lived.  Funeral services Monday afternoon, Rev. A. J. Blair, 
Congregational minister officiating.  Burial in Otisco cemetery.
