The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, February 25, 1902


Henry Rowley, one of the pioneer residents of Orleans, succumbed to pneumonia, 
at the age of 81 years, on Monday morning.  Funeral on Wednesday morning, from 
the Orleans M. E. church.  The family is one of the oldest in the county, and 
its several branches number many who are yet residents in various sections of 
the county with whose early history they are so conspicuously connected.
