Ionia Shopper's Guide - Sat.December 3, 2022

Kathleen E.Royal, age 92, of Sheridan passed away November 29, 2022 in Ionia.She 
was born July 5,1930 in Saranac Michigan the daughter of Glenn and Frances 
Young. Kathleen married Robert L.Royal in 1975. He preceded her in death January 
10, 2006.

She was a life member of the Sheridan VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Member of Shiloh 
Community Church and past attendee of the Galilee Baptist Church in Saranac when 
Pastor James Frank was Pastor.

Kathleen loved to ride Snowmobiles, Motorcycles, Cook and go to Yard Sales and 
gaarage Sales.

She is survived by her children Leonard (Carolyn) Guernsey of Ionia, Stephanie 
Jennings of Big Lake, Alaska, Glen (Pam) Guernsey of Hastings and Sondra Graham 
of Anchorage Alaska. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-
grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren. Half brothers Ed (Hart) 
Johnson and Dave (Irene) Johnson both of Canada. Several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, husband Robert, Daughter Debbie Waters, sons 
Ricky, Steve, and Randy Guernsey and sister Darlene DeYoung.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the 
Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor James Floyd officiating. Interment to 
follow at Saranac Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday, December 2md from 1-3 
and 5-7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Those wishing may make memorial contributions
