Jesse William Royse, 72, of Fenwick, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at the Carson
City Hospital.  He was born Nov. 17, 1927, in Reelsville, Ind., to Rollie and
Katherine (Kendall) Royce.  He married Marie Seaman on Feb. 29, 1964, in Ithaca.
 He served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.  

He is survived by wife, Marie Royse of Fenwick; daughter, Linda Hopkins of
Fenwick; two sons, Lawson Royse of Zion, Ill. and Jesse Aaron (Rhonda) of
Fenwick; two daughters Jewel Royse of Ionia and Kendra (David) Wood of Ionia;
many grandchildren and step-grandchildren; two sisters, Vera (Glen) Lesley of
Greencastle, Ind. and Zelma (Frank) Phipps of Bainbridge, Ind.; brother-in-law,
Bob Walton of Coatesville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.  He was
preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Katherine Royse; two sisters, Ruth
Albright and Geneva Walton; and Rollie Albert Royse Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral
Home in Carson City.  Visitation was at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday and will be at
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.  Interment
will be in Lyons Cemetery in Lyons.  Memorials may be made to the wishes of the
family.
