E. MARIE ROYCE 1944- 2017
E. Marie Royce, 72, of Fenwick, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Sparrow 
Hospital in Lansing.

Marie was born May 15, 1944, the daughter of Clifford "Curly" and Eliza 
"Sally" (Fokler) Seaman. She graduated as valedictorian and went on to earn 
her Associated Degree in Accounting.

Marie married Jesse Royse on Feb. 29, 1964 in Ithaca. She worked many 
different jobs during her working career including, bookkeeping, factory 
work, selling Avon and lastly in registration at the Ionia Hospital. Marie 
enjoyed bird watching and arranging flowers.

She is survived by her daughters Linda Hopkins, Jewel Tyler, Kendra 
(Johnathan) Little; sons Lawson Royse, Aaron Royse; many grandchildren and 
step-grandchildren; brother Norm Seaman, and many nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her parent, husband Jesse in 2000 and a 
brother, Ron Seaman.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Lux 
and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.

Interment will be in Lyons Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 
to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
