The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Thursday, July 22, 1909

Edith, wife of Emil Rubach, aged 34, died this morning at 3 o’clock at the 
family home, 548 Jefferson street, of consumption.  She was a sister of Frank 
Ammon, and a lady highly regarded.  She leaves many friends who have the 
sympathy of the community.  Funeral from the German Lutheran church at 2 
o’clock Sunday afternoon, service of prayer at the house at 1:30.  Rev. Succop 
will officiate and the burial will be in Highland park cemetery.
