Mrs. Augusta Rubach, 84, of 610 Jackson street, came to the United States at the age of 13 with her parents. She was born in Kagan Dorft, Germany, June 20, 1883, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stoll. The Stoll family moved directly to Ionia after their arrival in the United States. Mrs. Rubach attended St. Johns Lutheran school, and worked at Sorosis garment factory in Ionia several years. She married Fred H. Rubach, October 4, 1905, at the Lutheran church in Ionia, and they lived on Jackson street most of their married lives. They lived a short time on Allen street, returning to Jackson street. Mr. Rubach passed away October, 1946. Surviving are two sons, Herbert and Arthur, both of Ionia, one grandchild, and three great-grandchildren. Thirteen brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Johns Lutheran church with the Rev. Roland Barkow officiating and interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
